In order to be enrolled as a Doctoral student, every candidate must have obtained a Master Degree Diploma first. As soon as we get everything confirmed, we willbe able to start with the approval procedure.

Second step: Approval Procedure

The Technical University of Gabrovo sends the application documents of the admitted students as well as a document confirming the recognition of the candidate’s Master Degree diploma to the Ministry of Education and Science, following the procedure for issuing long-term (D-type) visas, in accordance with the legislation in the Republic of Bulgaria. The Ministry of Education and Science issues Admission Certificates only for the prospective students, who have been admitted for study. The Admission Certificate is valid only for the academic year for which it has been issued and therefore the candidate must apply for Bulgarian visa as soon as she/he gets it. The Technical University of Gabrovo sends the Admission Certificate personally to the address of the applicant given in the Application Form.
