International projects:

Lecturers from this department  have been actively involved in developing international, national and academic research projects funded by EU programs (TEMPUS, ERASMUS, LEONARDO DA VINCI, PHARE etc.), as per section 3 of the government budget and the research fund of TU-Gabrovo used to support young scientists, undergraduates and  postgraduate students. A large part of the projects worked on deal with problems which are directly related to the subject matter of one or more disciplines taught in the department.

1. The department  represented TU-Gabrovo as partner to TEMPUS project S_JEP 07183-94 “Polymer material science”.

2. It has also been co-organizer and contractor of  TEMPUS project IB_JEP 13054–98Training Center in European Industrial and Environmental Standard”.

3. Under contracted mobility as per  № 83167-IC-3-2001-1-BG-ERASMUS-EPS-1, № 83167-IC-I-1-2002-BG-ERASMUS и № 83167-IC-2-2003-1-BG-ERASMUS-EUS lecturers from the department and undergraduates do annual studies in Martin-Luther University, city of Hale, Germany.

4. The department is also organizer and contractor of project № 2002-BG/02/ B/F/PP-132088 under LdV program “Vocational lifelong learning in  quality management and  environmental control for small and medium business staff”.
